Clarks Summit University was founded in Johnson City, NY, in 1932 and was originally called Baptist Bible College & Seminary. Today the University remains true to its Baptist convictions by educating undergraduate, graduate and seminary students for lives of service to the Christian cause in a variety of careers. In addition to holding regional accreditation, Clarks Summit is also accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education and the Association of Christian Schools International.
All of Clark Summit’s online undergraduate degrees are in biblical studies. Students can choose from associate or bachelor’s level degrees in integrated studies. The integrated studies curricula are designed to “instruct [students] in biblical truth, humanities, writing, science, and ministry.” Undergraduates can also major in Christian ministries, or in counseling and Christian ministries. Master’s level degree specializations include Bible, counseling and organizational leadership. The university also offers online master’s degrees in education with specializations in curriculum and instruction, educational administration and english/communications. Graduate degrees offered through the university’s seminary include Master of Ministry, Master of Arts in Biblical Apologetics, Master of Theology and Master of Arts in Church Planting & Renewal.
